A Note on Retail vs. Reserve Price on Philantopia Travel Packages
As you explore our extensive library of travel auction packages, you’ll notice at the bottom of each description a note that includes the “Retail Price” and the “Reserve Price.” Philantopia is designed specifically with nonprofit fundraising in mind, and these prices reflect our commitment to helping your organization raise funds.
The “Retail Price” is the cost of the travel package for the consumer if they were to purchase it at market value. The “Reserve Price” is Philantopia’s special rate for nonprofit organizations. So, when your nonprofit purchases the trip, you pay the reserve price. Anything your donors pay above that price goes toward your cause.
